I have been using this round pen sense 1989. I am on my second pen at this time. I train professionally in the business of starting colts and dealing with behavior needs. The Porta-flex has paid for it's self every time I use it.

Example: We work with all breeds of horses and their well being is most important. It is not uncommon for a horse working in a round pen to become frustrated or anxious and kick out at the pen they are in. When and if that happens in the Porta-Flex all that they contact is the fabric, No Trauma!

Another point is my safety. Often the young horse will get to close to a round pen while I am in the saddle. In a steel or wooden pen I have had to protect my legs if this happens and in doing so it can sometimes bother or frighten the horse. In the Porta-Flex I am protected even if the horse gets into or to close to the pen. These two factors are worth a lot to me and any horse that I may be working with.

On many occasions I travel to to do Colt starting or behavior Clinics. The Porta-Flex is light weight and very easy to put up. Usually about 35 to 45 min. My pen is used every day of the year and is never taken down except for travel sense 1989. I am very satisfied with the longevity and integrity of this product! 
In my opinion this product is a necessary tool for anyone, professional or not, interested in the safety of both the horse and the rider.
